Project Summary
This project was completed in my Digital Illustration II class. The assignment was to photograph an indoor scene and recreate it as realistically as possible using digital painting techniques.
It was a time-intensive process that challenged my attention to detail, lighting, and texture—but it was also incredibly rewarding. This piece helped strengthen my digital painting skills and deepened my appreciation for the patience and precision that realism requires.

Project Summary
This was another project from my Digital Illustration II class. The assignment was to create a piece based on a mythical figure, and I chose to illustrate King Midas. I’ve always been drawn to this story, particularly because of its redemptive arc—the reminder that true treasure lies not in material wealth, but in the people closest to us.
This piece was time-intensive, requiring careful attention to detail and storytelling through visual elements. Despite the long hours, it was a deeply rewarding process that allowed me to combine narrative depth with refined illustration techniques.

Project Summary
This project was completed in my Digital Illustration I class as a tribute to one of my favorite actresses, Viola Davis. Her journey from poverty to prominence has always inspired me. What moves me most is how she’s transformed her hardships into strength, using her platform not only to rise but to uplift others along the way.
Through this portrait, I aimed to capture the power, grace, and resilience she brings to every role—especially in her nuanced and commanding portrayals of Black women in Hollywood. Her impact, both on and off the screen, is truly remarkable.

Project Summary
This was another project from my Digital Illustration I class, where we focused on anatomical studies. Understanding the human body is fundamental to art and design, and this assignment helped build that foundation. At the time, I was still fairly new to digital painting in Photoshop—just like with the previous and the one below—but I enjoyed the challenge.
Despite being early in my journey, I was proud of what I accomplished and had a great time learning the tools and techniques of Photoshop along the way.

Project Summary
This was another class project from Digital Illustration I, continuing our focus on anatomical studies. For this piece, I chose to study the eyes—one of the most captivating features of the human body. Eyes carry so much expression, beauty, and mystery, which made them a fascinating subject to explore.
I truly enjoyed working on this project. It allowed me to practice detail and depth while continuing to grow more confident with digital painting techniques.
